1. An apology

The original intention was for this newsletter to be published on a monthly basis. Existing subscribers will be well aware that this hasn't happened!! but this hasn't been down to a 'couldn't be bothered' attitude, quite the opposite in fact. For the last 6 months, IHSAS have been heavily involved in establishing a coach training service organisation, IHCTS.

IHCTS runs a coach training program and has recently been working with Sportscoach UK in writing the Technical Definition for the sport of inline hockey. The T.D. is now a live document, having been approved by SPRITO, and allows coaches to work towards NVQ Level 2 in Sports Coaching using inline hockey as the base sport. Further details about IHCTS can be found at their web site www.ihcts.co.uk were you will also find details of upcoming courses. Visit the site and join the mailing list to be kept up to date on developments.
